Confidential is Hiring a Production Coordinator Near Suffolk, NY

What You Need to Know About Us:

A mid-sized, central Suffolk County - based manufacturing company, is hiring for a floor-level Production Coordinator. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those who would like to make a tangible difference in a hands-on role.

The primary responsibility will be to coordinate the daily production needs with close interaction with line-level workers. In addition, this role will entail implementing production and quality procedures based on established operating procedures. Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of traditional metal fabrication and have great leadership skills in order to coach, train, and mentor production staff.

What We're Looking For In You:

  • 3-5 years in manufacturing environment with supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of traditional metal shop and basic assembly processes and/or strong willingness to learn
  • Good working knowledge of Administrative Assistant skills a plus
  • Very familiar with repetitive product, job-shop, and prototyping environments
  • Comfortable working under pressure to manage production schedules in order to meet required deadlines.
  • Competencies in project management with good organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity of basic purchasing, warehouse, and inventory roles as they relate to direct production schedules.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills in order to coach and mentor production staff to achieve growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual a plus
